Main goals of the Congress:
1. unification of the efforts of Azerbaijanis living in the Republic of Moldova and their non-governmental organizations with the purpose of common participation in realization of their civil rights and socio-cultural development;
2. preservation and development of national traditions, unique identity of the language, cultural heritage of Azerbaijanis;
3. strengthening interethnic relationship and friendship between the peoples of Moldova and Azerbaijan;
4. offering legal assistance and social protection for Azerbaijanis living in Moldova.
